The Trip sheet is a view you're used to seeing and APDL takes your trip data and shows context aware information allowing you to stay on top of your scheduled duty. Tap the duty bar to adjust duty with ease, tap the icons such as the note icon to get an instant report of your trip and get updated information such as gates and equipment changes. A visual of your routes help you also see a high level view of the weather radar. Go into the Weather Map view and tap the icons on the top right to get instant and up to date TAF and METARs.
APDL's Alerts view will show you any issues that need your attention such as legality issues. View in depth legality detail with flight time limits and FAR 1.1 info. Sync your duty with a selected Calendar to keep family members in the know of your schedule using shared calendars if desired or simply keep your duty in sync on your own personal calendar.
