In case you missed our APDL 8.3 release announcement we are very excited to announce a great update to our rapidly evolving airline pilot logbook app for Apple iOS devices. At only $99/year APDL 8.3 adds a new settings checklist which walks you through the configuration of APDL whether a new user or former user, everyone should run through this new checklist. You can access it by going to Settings and tap the bottom row titled "SETTINGS CHECKLIST" which ensures everything is set for optimal use of APDL such as your airline, employee info, payroll, Logbook Pro Types/Tails if you used it, domicile, schedule importer setup, etc. One other exciting feature is our crowd sourced APDL data to allow users of an airline to download types and tails input by other users in the same airline to help readily configure your app with the types and tails recently flown.
FLICA users tap "Check Schedule" on the menu and if not already setup APDL will get you configured for amazing schedule importing and change detection. We made significant improvements in this area supporting both Access Anywhere and Mobile.
For our new users to the app we are working on improvements to help educate you on how to use APDL as we have packed a lot of functionality into it as evidenced by the power we give you in the Settings area. But the main entry point is the Schedule or Calendar view where you can tap a day and you'll get a prompt to add duty, etc. Check out the APDL documentation and video tutorials and you can even download a PDF of the documentation for offline reading from our downloads page if desired.
